Quotable Moments:
Dr. Brian Kay on AI in Healthcare:
"By setting up those algorithms and leveraging different data from patient-reported outcome measures, we had a positive predictive value of around 92%... We were able to predict if that individual was going to respond to treatment on their first day."
George Forge on AI in Marketing and Manufacturing:
"How do you build an AI assistant that can help give the best answers for that particular industry that are current and relevant and need minimal people... It's phenomenal from a training perspective."
Nathan Lasnoski on AI’s Business Value:
"AI enables you to learn more about yourselves, your customers, and your customer's customer... It's about discovering non-intuitive insights to help companies unlock new value."
Sarah Grooms on AI and Employee Empowerment:
"AI should empower employees and make their jobs easier... We’re not jumping into robo-advising our entire client base—AI starts with data, policies, and governance."
3 Big Takeaways from this Episode:
- AI as an Augmentation, Not Replacement
AI is increasingly seen as a tool to augment the workforce—helping employees perform more efficiently rather than replacing jobs. This sentiment was especially evident in healthcare, where AI helps reduce administrative burdens while improving patient outcomes. - Personalized, Data-Driven Insights Lead to Better Outcomes
Across industries, AI is enabling organizations to analyze massive datasets to make more personalized, actionable decisions—whether in behavioral health, customer service, or marketing. Predictive algorithms and personalized medicine are transforming traditional approaches. - Data Privacy & AI Governance are Key Challenges
With AI implementation comes the challenge of maintaining data privacy and avoiding bias in AI algorithms. Panelists emphasized the importance of transparency, governance, and ensuring that data-driven insights remain ethical and secure.
