Midwest Manufacturing AI Summit to Equip Manufacturers with Practical Tools and Strategies for AI Adoption
One-day event co-located with Wisconsin’s largest manufacturing tradeshow will focus on real-world AI applications for industry leaders
Milwaukee, WI – August 13, 2025 – Manufacturers across the Midwest will converge on October 7, 2025, for the inaugural Midwest Manufacturing AI Summit, a one-day event designed to help manufacturing leaders explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in their operations.
Hosted in partnership with the Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show (WIMTS) — the state’s largest manufacturing event — the Summit will take place at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in Milwaukee and offer attendees a focused, actionable introduction to AI adoption in manufacturing.
“AI is no longer just a buzzword — it’s already changing the way manufacturers approach production, quality, maintenance, and workforce planning,” said Matt Kirchner, host of The TechEd Podcast and keynote speaker for the Summit. “This event is for companies that are ready to stop wondering and start doing.”
Built for Manufacturers at the Starting Line
The Midwest Manufacturing AI Summit is built specifically for plant managers, operations executives, and business leaders who are at the beginning of their AI journey.
Sessions will include:
- A keynote on the current state of AI and its impact on manufacturing
- Real-world case studies from manufacturers already using AI
- Access to technology & strategic partners who can help attendees take their next AI steps
- Interactive group discussions and networking opportunities
- A final session outlining 10 practical actions manufacturers can take immediately
Attendees will also gain access to the full WIMTS exhibit floor, where dozens of advanced manufacturing solutions will be on display — including a dedicated AI Alley featuring Summit technology partners.
A Curated, Practical Experience
The Summit will cut through the noise and hype surrounding artificial intelligence, focusing instead on the tangible ways AI can reduce downtime, improve throughput, support workforce efficiency, and solve strategic challenges in today’s manufacturing environment.
“There’s a misconception that you need a team of data scientists or a massive budget to get started with AI,” said Kirchner. “This Summit is designed to show that’s not the case. You already have the data. You just need to know where to look — and what to do next.”
